New to yoga?
At Peace Blossoms Yoga, you may choose from Beginner classes in two yoga styles: Kripalu or Viniyoga. Our experienced and certified teachers focus on your body's needs as we build the blocks for a hatha yoga practice. Choose either class to suit your needs.

Perfect for Beginners!

Kripalu Beginner Blossoms:
Kripalu Beginner Blossoms is a 6 week series (6 80-minute classes) designed for those completely new to yoga or who would like a review of the fundamentals in alignment for the body, breathing techniques and relaxation all in a safe, supported environment. Kripalu yoga is the rose center of PBY. Learn to develop an internal practice of compassionate self-awareness suited to your unique self.

Beginning Hatha Yoga:
A six week series for beginners taught by one of the studio teachers in their yoga tradition. This series emphasizes a sequence of movements and breathing that prepare you to do a classical yoga posture and is suitable for all levels. This tradition is a methodology for protecting and maintaining health, promoting our ability to be productive in the world and inspiring the deeper quest for self-realization.

Pregnancy Yoga:
Prenatal yoga is a wonderful way for moms-to-be to experience their pregnancy in a calm and easeful way using the yoga tools of self-awareness, gentle guided movement and asana, breathing techniques and meditations and deep relaxation. You will be invited to enjoy the benefits weekly to prepare and maintain your body for the birth experience, to deeply support your mind or free up anxiety, enjoy a deeper connection with yourself and baby as you support body, mind and spirit during a time of transition to motherhood. You may join this class preferably after the first trimester if you are new to yoga. If you are a yoga student, see Jane for guidance. Our 8 class pass is honored throughout your pregnancy until due date. Women love this new connection and may continue classes until delivery. One free baby and mom or post-natal class is YOUR GIFT!

Baby BUDS Class:
Continue your postnatal yoga with your baby, ages 5 weeks to crawling. In this class, you will focus on strengthen and toning belly and pelvic floor, connect with your baby in new ways through movement and touch, and have fun with yoga postures and deep guided relaxation. Babies will be engaged with their own yoga movements - dress for comfort!

Peaceful Healing Yoga:
A monthly special restorative yoga class for deep relaxation, renewal and balance of your energy. Students are passively supported in held positions in modified yoga asanas using blankets and bolsters. You are guided mindfully by the healing power of breath and intention to help release deep tensions. No effort is required to benefit from the tranquility of the moment and the healing nature of this class.

Children's Yoga:
A playful class for ages 6-12 offered seasonally. Let your kids discover joy and confidence while developing focus, balance, strength and flexibility. Please call for information.


You are welcome to come open yourself to the wonders of yoga and flower with us! For students who have completed a beginner introductory series, our ongoing classes may be attended as frequently as you like, choosing the pass that suits your needs and the class that fits your unique level of awareness and ability. Kripalu Moderate Path:
A Just right yoga class for all -levels of ability and ages as we honor ourselves right where we are. A full class includes exploring warm-ups, basic yoga postures with detailed instruction on key points, fundamentals of breathing techniques, deep relaxation and mindful awareness of body, mind and spirit in harmony.

Kripalu Gentle Petals:
A relaxing, balanced class to ease and nurture any body, mind and emotions held in a safe, compassionate place. This class fully supports those needing stress-relief, gentle movement and some limitations in movement. If you desire a specific class, try a therapeutic individual session.

Kripalu Full Bloom:
A dynamic, blend of Kripalu style with full awareness to your needs, yet vibrant and linking movement and breath, explore yoga concepts, attune inside and out. Students will be at the intermediate level or having one year of experience.

Viniyoga Moderate:
An all-levels class emphasizing the Viniyoga tradition of linking physical postures, breath awareness and intention to suit your individual needs.

Private Yoga Therapy/Instruction
An opportunity to work one-on-one to develop a yoga practice, to further enhance your yoga training or to explore an area of physical limitation. Stretch yourself to new possibilities. Please call our studio for appointments.
