"I began practicing yoga in 1996, at the suggestion of a close friend. We studied with Bobbi Holiday in Rocky River, OH until graduation of high school in '98. She inspired me to practice yoga, initailly for the health benefits, but that interest grew into finding a peaceful place within myself. I moved to Kent to study Art and met a new friend who encouraged me to go to a nearby yoga class. I went and my devotion to the practice deepened. The teacher there, Margot Milcetich has been my teacher of yoga, philosophy, yoga teacher training, and more recently of the Healing Art, Jin Shin for the past 8 years. Through the practice of yoga, I've found a calm and still center in the midst of many changes in my life and realized my connection to a Higher Source. I'm very excited and grateful to be teaching at Peace Blossoms to join this wonderful new community of yogis and share the knowledge I've gained."

Brahmrishi Yoga is inspired by Brahrishi Vishvatma Bawraji, 1934-2002, who revived the ancient teaching of Samkhya Philosophy as the basis of Yoga. Samkhya comes from the Vedic era, realized and taught by Lord Kapila. The message is that the one absolute source projects into life as both the knower and the known, that is, as the light of consciousness and a field of energy. We find freedom in life by valuing both distinct powers.
